Terry RogersTerry has a long history of genealogical research. Starting in the early 70's, he began researching his own family and did so for the next 25 years. His research covered New England, Scotland, Ireland and Eastern Canada. In addition, working with his wife Margaret, he was exposed to research in England and Germany In the early 1990's, while living in Toronto, he began working in the Family History Center in Toronto. Upon his return to BC in 2001, he joined the staff of the Surrey Family History Center and continues to work there today. He has taught many courses over the years on researching in Ontario, Quebec and the Maritime Provinces and using the internet as a research tool. He has been able to help many patrons at the FHC to find well hidden ancestors. In addition, he has a love of history and encourages patrons to develop histories of their families as they find them.
