Marlene DanceMarlene has been doing genealogy research for over 45 years. In addition, she has researched for over 40 individuals, helping them find their history. She is the genealogist for the Chilliwack branch of the UELAC and has facilitated the successful accreditation of over 70 Loyalist applications. Marlene has self-published several booklets for family reunions tracing the families origins to the early settlement of the original 13 Colonies in North America.  In addition she has had articles published in the Alberta Family Histories quarterly and “Who do you think you are?” magazine in the UK.  Since 1997, Marlene has been regularly invited to speak to service clubs, seniors groups and genealogy societies. She facilitates a monthly Genealogy Workshop at the Sardis Library in Chilliwack and has taught a 3 hr per week, 6 week genealogy class at the UFV campus in Chilliwack thru the ElderCollege program since 2009.
